Segmenting Clients

You can segment a list of clients based certain criteria to help narrow down information and behavior of your clients πŸ₯³

You can use segments and reach out to clients for various scenarios such as:

  • Clients haven't watched on-demand content to remind them of the offering

  • Clients who frequently cancel and you want to send a friendly reminder of your cancelation policy

  • Offering clients a discount on packages to come back if they haven't purchased a pricing option in X amount of time

  • + so much more!

Creating a Segment:

  1. Click "Create new segment"

  2. Name your segment

Select the user data, event or group

Tag on the client's account

Select the tags for this condition

Pricing Option

Use one of the following additional fields:

  • Has active: Clients who have active packages or subscription

  • Doesn't have active: Clients who don't have any active packages or subscriptions

  • Expired / canceled: Clients who have purchase history and no visits remaining or their subscription has been cancelled

  • Purchased: Clients who have ever purchased a pricing option

  • Never purchased: Clients who have never purchased a pricing option

Click on "Filter" when hovering over the Condition to add a specific attribute:

  • Name: select names of the pricing options

  • Type: Pack, subscription, challenge, bundle

  • Intro offer: is true or false

Booked reservation

A reservation has been made

  • At least: clients that have booked at least X amount of times

  • Exactly: clients that have booked exactly X amount of times

  • Less than: clients that have booked less than X amount of times

You can select "over all time" or select relative or absolute dates.

Relative dates:

  • in the last X amount of days

  • not in the last X amount of days

  • between X days and X days ago (Example: between 0 and 14 days ago)

Absolute (exact) dates:

  • After exact date

  • Before exact date

  • Between 2 days (Example: Between Jan 1st - Jan 31st)

Canceled reservation

A reservation was canceled

  • At least: clients that have canceled a reservation at least X amount of times

  • Exactly: clients that have canceled exactly X amount of times

  • Less than: clients that have canceled less than X amount of times

You can select "over all time" or select relative or absolute dates.

Relative dates:

  • in the last X amount of days

  • not in the last X amount of days

  • between X days and X days ago (Example: between 0 and 14 days ago)

Absolute (exact) dates:

  • After exact date

  • Before exact date

  • Between 2 days (Example: Between Jan 1st - Jan 31st)

Attended reservation

A client attended the reservation that they made for in person or virtual class

  • At least: clients that have attended at least X amount of times

  • Exactly: clients that have attended exactly X amount of times

  • Less than: clients that have attended less than X amount of times

You can select "over all time" or select relative or absolute dates.

Relative dates:

  • in the last X amount of days

  • not in the last X amount of days

  • between X days and X days ago (Example: between 0 and 14 days ago)

  • Before exact date

Watched on demand

An on-demand video was viewed

  • At least: clients that have viewed an on demand video at least X amount of times

  • Exactly: clients that have viewed on demand videos exactly X amount of times

  • Less than: clients that have viewed on demand videos less than X amount of times

You can select "over all time" or select relative or absolute dates.

Relative dates:

  • in the last X amount of days

  • not in the last X amount of days

  • between X days and X days ago (Example: between 0 and 14 days ago)

Absolute (exact) dates:

  • After exact date

  • Before exact date

  • Between 2 days (Example: Between Jan 1st - Jan 31st)


Using the All (AND) or At least one (OR) conditions

All (AND)

Description: Use this filter to include ALL conditions for multiple segments

Example: You use two segments - tags and pricing options. If you select "All", then the segment would include clients that have purchased a certain pricing option AND were tagged with a specific tag.

When to use: If you want to segment based on all of the segments that you have set up.

At least one (OR)

Description: Use this filter to include AT LEAST one condition for multiple segments

Example: You use two segments - tags and pricing options. If you select "at least one", then the segment would include clients that have purchased a certain pricing option OR were tagged with a specific tag.

When to use: If you want to segment based on at least one of the segments that you have set up.


Viewing a Segment for clients:

  1. Go to Clients

  2. Click on the filter next to the search bar and select the

  3. Select the segment that was created

    1. Note: you must create and save the Segment first, before it will show up here!
