What is a community

A community is a product to help bring your customers closer together and add additional income streams of revenue. Some of most common community types our partners are building include the following:

• A fitness challenge

• A virtual event series / retreat

• Digital program / PDF bundle

• Membership Community

• E-Book

If you created something that doesn't fit exactly into this box, even better! The future of digital/in-person programming is creative, interactive and brings people together.

What's amazing about our communities feature is that you can always add classes + video content from your other services as an additional benefit to any of your programs.

Which community template is right for me?

We built some community templates to help you get started on exactly what you'd like to create.

Note: Currently each template is exactly the same but will soon have its own features that make it unique.

A 30 day challenge (10 days of movement)

This is a creative way to motivate students and allow them to commit to a transformation over a set period of X days. Typically challenges and programs like these have a clear start and end date so that students can commit to a program to jumpstart their health/fitness routines.

Challenge include classes, videos resources and a bulletin board for students to connect during the challenge and build a hub for the duration of the time together.

Example of a 30 day challenge from the incredible Pixie

Pro Tip 💡: Create a special offer for these programs as they end to drive more students to other services.

i.e 30 day challengers receive their first month of my VOD library at 50% off.

An event series / retreat

This is a great way to bring people together to either deepen their knowledge of a topic or offer something special to your members beyond the day-today.

These can either be online or in-person as life re-opens up!

Example of a virtual retreat sold on-demand from Yessie

Pro Tip💡: Typically payment options for retreats + series can be done in installments to reserve initial spots or offer a higher tier for a VIP experience.

Digital program / PDF bundle

Repurpose some of your old content to sell as a package or build premium content beyond your evergreen content library.

These are great for niche programs such as

  • 2 week program into splits

  • 10 days to headstands

  • 28-gut reset

  • Post pardom series

Membership Community

Create a safe and intimate space for your members to connect and collaborate with one another.

This is a great way to allow members to interact with one another, driving engagement and retention. It's also a great way to add additional value to members beyond your classes + VOD library.

For example, many of our partners using the membership community add bonus videos, blog posts, guest expert events, PDFs, subscription happy hours, to allow members to feel like they are receiving even more value from their membership.

Pro Tip💡: Use a tool such as Mighty Networks, WhatsApp, GroupMe, or IG chat, Facebook group in your bulletin board to keep everyone connected with one another.
