Getting Started with Arketa Phone Line
To get started, reach out to the Arketa Support team to turn on this feature!
Once the feature is turned on, go to Settings > Phone Number and select "Answer in Dashboard" and click "Save"
Note: The phone line is an add-on to the Marketing Suite software. If you're interested in the Marketing software, reach out to our support team!
Making a call from the dashboard
Go to the Inbox or the client's profile, and click on the phone icon to start the call! Once the call connects, you will see this tab in the bottom, right.
From this screen, you can click to record the call, mute yourself or end the call.

What happens if I miss or decline a call?
If you miss or decline a call, it will automatically show up in the client’s Inbox thread inside your Arketa dashboard.
You’ll see the missed call alongside any texts or past interactions with that client.
If the client leaves a voicemail, the system will provide a voicemail transcription directly in the thread for quick review.
From there, you can call back, reply via text, or follow up later—all in one place.
This ensures every call is logged, tracked, and easy to respond to without needing a separate phone system.
What if I only want calls on one device?
You can silence calls on specific devices and still keep voicemail + missed call logs in your Inbox.
Do I need to set up a new number aside from the one in Arketa?
Nope! The Arketa Phone Line integrates directly into your dashboard—no extra apps or numbers needed.
Can my team members also answer calls?
Yes! Any team member with access to the client thread can view, respond, or follow up on missed calls.
