Getting to know Arketa Accounting

Getting started is simple. During your onboarding call, we’ll guide you through a quick setup (usually under 10 minutes) to connect your business accounts—like bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll. After that, our team does the heavy lifting. You may hear from us once or twice a month if we need clarification on a transaction or a document (like a loan statement), but otherwise you can relax knowing your books are taken care of.

We’ll set up an onboarding call to connect your accounts to Arketa Bookkeeping. During this time, we’ll also link your cell phone number so you have a direct line to your bookkeeper for quick communication.

We’ll help you transition smoothly. Our team will walk you through how to retrieve your data from your current bookkeeper or accounting software, and we’ll migrate it into Arketa Bookkeeping for you.

Yes! We offer “catch-up” bookkeeping at a 50% discount off the standard monthly rate so your financials are fully up to date.

Once you’ve responded to any requests for information in your Arketa Bookkeeping portal, your books will be completed within 5 business days after month-end.

Yes! You’ll be paired with a dedicated bookkeeper who oversees your account. You can reach them directly via SMS or email anytime, and you can also request a support call if you’d prefer to talk live.

We don’t provide tax advice or file taxes on your behalf. What we do is organize and track your business financials so tax season is stress-free. At the end of the year, we’ll provide a packet of your financials that you can simply hand to your CPA for filing.

Arketa Bookkeeping works with all U.S. banks. We have direct integrations with over 12,000 financial institutions, but if yours isn’t included, we can easily work with monthly bank statements instead.
