How to Set Up Facebook Analytics Integration

Integrating Facebook Analytics with Arketa can help you gain valuable insights into user interactions and engagement. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of setting up Facebook Analytics. You'll need two pieces of information: the "Facebook Pixel ID" and the "Facebook Domain Verification Meta Tag."

Step 1: Log in to Your Facebook Business Account

  1. Visit Facebook Business Manager: Go to business.facebook.com and log in to your Facebook Business account. If you don't have one, you can create it.

Step 2: Create or Find Your Facebook Pixel ID

  1. In Facebook Business Manager, click on the "Business Settings" located in the top right corner.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click on "Data Sources" and select "Pixels."

  3. If you already have a Facebook Pixel created, locate it in the list and note down the "Facebook Pixel ID." If you don't have one, you can create a new Facebook Pixel by clicking "Add" and following the setup instructions. Make sure to name it for easy reference.

Step 3: Obtain the Facebook Domain Verification Meta Tag

  1. In Facebook Business Manager, click on "Business Settings" again.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click on "Brand Safety" and select "Domains."

  3. If your domain (website) is not listed, add it by clicking "Add" and following the instructions to verify ownership.

  4. Once your domain is added, locate it in the list and click on it.

  5. In the Domain Details section, you'll find a section called "Meta Tag Verification." Copy the meta tag provided in this section, as you'll need it for integration.

Step 4: Return to Arketa

  1. Log in to Arketa

  2. Navigate to the settings section under "Integrations"

Step 5: Set Up Facebook Analytics Integration

  1. Look for the 'Integrations' or 'Analytics' section within your platform's settings.

  2. Find the 'Facebook Analytics' option and click on it.

  3. In the integration settings, you'll be prompted to enter the "Facebook Pixel ID" and "Facebook Domain Verification Meta Tag."

    • Enter the "Facebook Pixel ID" you obtained in Step 2 into the corresponding field.

    • Paste the "Facebook Domain Verification Meta Tag" you copied in Step 3 into its respective field.

Step 6: Save and Verify

  1. After entering the required information, click the "Save" button to activate the integration.

  2. Verify that the integration is active by checking the status or through a confirmation message. This may take a short time to update.

Step 7: Utilize Facebook Analytics Data

Now that you've set up Facebook Analytics, you can use the data it provides to understand user interactions, track conversions, and optimize your advertising efforts on Facebook.
