In the tab Mobile App: here you can update your app name, description photos, pricing, and more. Updates to your branded app fall into two categories: Instant Changes via Dashboard and Manual Updates Requiring Resubmission. Instant changes include updates to the app name shown on the login page, login page description, background image, home page icon, text and button colors, and tab configuration. Manual updates, such as changes to the app icon, App Store/Google Play product page content, and marketing visuals, require a new app build and app store approval.
Dashboard changes take effect immediately in the app, while manual updates requiring app store resubmission typically take 2–4 weeks to be approved and reflected.
If you are updating your App Store Name / App Store Description, app icon, or marketing visuals, these changes require a new app build and app store resubmission. The process involves submitting a request via Arketa’s branded app update form, notifying Arketa via live chat, and waiting for app store review, which typically takes 2–4 weeks.
Tips for Updating Screenshots and Visuals
Prepare Assets: Ensure your screenshots and visuals meet the app stores’ size, format, and content requirements.
Update Dashboard Content: Before submitting a screenshot update request, ensure all relevant details in your dashboard are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Notes
Store listing text changes, such as app descriptions, do not update automatically from your dashboard. They must be resubmitted for approval.
Changes to the branded app that affect the App Store listing require manual intervention and cannot be pushed automatically.
