You can add custom revenue categories to track sales.
Why use Revenue Categories?
Revenue categories are a great way to categorize offerings / services for revenue tracking and reporting purposes that are specific to your business.
How to Add Revenue Category
Go to Settings > Revenue Categories > Categories
Click on "Add New" and add in the name and description of the revenue cateogry
Save the category
How to assign a Revenue Category
Go to Settings > Revenue Categories > Assignment
On this page, you can assign the custom categories to each item that you sell (packages, subscriptions, retail, etc)
How to assign Revenue Category when creating a Pricing Option
You can assign a custom revenue category when creating a pricing option.
Note: the revenue category must be created first under Settings > Revenue Categories
You will be able to assign a revenue category under "Revenue Category" in the pricing option:
Reporting with Revenue Categories
Go to Analytics > Reports > Revenue Category Sales to view sales based on the custom categories that you've created!
