You can now offer the ability for family members to share packages.
Setting up Family Sharing:
Toggle on family accounts to connect family members
Enable sharing of payment types to allow for the sharing of packages, memberships, and drop-ins, amongst select family members & friends.
Once turned on you can connect family members in the client profile
Adding a family member as a client:
Client's will go into their profile > Family Sharing to add a new family member and click on "Add New"
2. The client will add in the family members information:
Note: if the family member does not have an email, de-select the "Has their own email" and arketa will put in a placeholder for sign up! This is a great option for younger family members that do not have emails yet. π
3. Click Save
After the family member is added, then clients can book and check out for a family member:
How does Family Sharing work:
The client that has the "main"/"parent" account will be able to use the membership and add family to their profile. Any family members that are added to the "parent" account will be able to use the Family Shared membership.
For example, Samantha is the child of Andrew. Andrew has a membership that allows for family sharing and has added Samantha as "child" to their profile This means Samantha can use Andrew's membership (that is eligible for Family Sharing), but Andrew cannot use any packages on his child's (Samantha) account.
