Managing confirmation and transactional email notifications in Arketa involves understanding the distinction between general and service-specific emails, using handlebars to customize content, and configuring settings to enable or disable specific notifications.

Confirmation emails
Reminder emails
You can update the body of your confirmation email in your settings. There are three types of confirmation emails you can manage:
General Settings Confirmation Email: This is the default confirmation email used across your account, referenced by the handlebar
{{partnerConfirmationEmailBody}}.Service Type–Specific Confirmation Email: Customizes the confirmation for a particular service, using handlebars like
{{class description}}.Pricing Option Confirmation Email: Overrides the General Business Settings confirmation for purchases like packages or subscriptions.
Location: Settings --> Account Settings
To edit a service type’s confirmation email content, navigate to Setup > Service Types > Advanced tab in the dashboard.
Once you update it, don't forget to click save changes! Top right hand corner.
Additionally, ensure you enable the necessary toggles in General Business Settings > Communication Settings to disable service type confirmation emails if needed.
Resolving Booking Discrepancies
Community-Specific Restrictions
Credits tied to a specific community can only be used for classes or services included in that community. If the target class isn’t part of the community’s offerings, the credit won’t appear as a payment option during booking.
For community beginner series with auto-enrollment, credits are not tied to individual classes and cannot be used for other bookings. Additional credit-limiting settings are unnecessary in this case.
Single-Class Credit Requirements
Single-class credits cannot be used if the class requires more credits than the client has. Adjust the class’s required credits to match the intended cost.
Family Sharing and Guest Usage
If the package or pricing option is not included in Family Sharing or "Allow Guest Usage" is disabled, credits may not apply. Ensure these settings are enabled for the relevant package.
Ensure that credits are published and not in "draft" status, as unpublished credits will not be available for use.
Additionally, verify that the pricing option is configured to apply to the intended class types (e.g., in-person or live-stream classes) and specific class templates.
Credit Eligibility and Expiration
Credits may not apply if they have expired or if the booking date is beyond the credit’s validity period. Ensure that the credits are valid for the intended booking date.
